I know I run the risk of opening a large can or worms on this subject... However, are we allowed to wear beagler type hats for ridden showing? (not for jumping obviously) or do they have all have to have straps and conform to current safety standards?
I have looked at photos of others from last years champs and they appear to be a mix of both. Fingers crossed its just a personal preferance.

We do allow Beaglers, and we allow Toppers for the releavnt classes and evening performances. Its an Insurance thing, we are not repsonsible for what the rider wears. Insurance companies expect you to be covered for Personal Accident and Public Liability through your horse insurance. We only become responsible when we are proved to be negligent. Hope that helps
